​GREETINGS FROM THE DIRECTOR
Greetings,

In 2017, I have had the greatest pleasure and honor in representing Japan at the 46th Miss Intercontinental. It was such a life-changing experience for me that I knew I had to be a part of this family and industry. I saw so much potential in what we could do that I wanted to fully immerse myself in this endeavor. Therefore, I along with my trusted team produced the 47th Miss Intercontinental in Manila, Philippines; which continues to hold the record for the most participated event in its 47 years of history. This is how NipponBijin began.

In my experience as both a candidate and producer of an international beauty pageant, there is one thing I have learned which continues to inspire me.

Just like the sun goddess of Japan, Amaterasu, I have seen that in every woman lies the innate power to be the guiding light for many. I see it in their beauty, strength, thoughts and actions. However, I noticed that many Japanese women do not see this in themselves.

In Nippon Bijin, we aim to empower Japanese women to realize their beauty and strength through a transformative holistic approach to self-affirmation. This is and forever will be our grounding and guiding force. We will continue to give women the opportunity and platform to be powerful creators of positive impact in their lives and others.

私は2017年に第46回ミス・インターコンチネンタルで日本を代表する最大の名誉を与えられました。それは私にとって人生を変えた経験で、ずっとこの仕事に関わりたいと思っていました。したがって、信頼できるチームと一緒に、私はフィリピンのマニラ市で第47回ミス・インターコンチネンタルをプロデュースし、47年の歴史の中で最も盛り上がった大会の記録を残しています。これがNippon Bijinの始まりです。

出場者やプロデューサーの両方としての経験のある私に気づいたことが1つあります。

日本の太陽神である天照大神のように、すべての女性には多くの人を導く光となる生来の力があることです。それは彼女たちの美しさ、強さ、思考、行動にみられます。しかし、多くの日本人女性はその力があることに気づかないのです。

Nippon Bijinでは、自己肯定を高める全面的なアプローチで、自分の美しさと強さを実現することを目指しています。自分そして周りにプラスの影響を与える日本女性になるプラットフォームを提供し続けます。これは私たちの課題と想いです。
